This track was written in celebration of the brave people attempting to stop the oil pipeline across Dakota, released a few days before we played The Mutant Theatre show in Las Vegas for Defcon 26 at Ceasars Palace. taken from the album "The Mutant Theatre"
For me, it reminded me of trips that I'd had, where sounds were weirdly distorted, like this track
As always, fellow space monkeys, put on your headphones, and wiggle them into position, so you can easily discern the left/right separation. Love. brian0scattergood0
FLA is a SONIC ELECTRONIC BULLDOZER. That's about the most concise way I can describe how this album feels to me.
'Alone' is hands down my top pick here, although I do find 'Rubber Tube Gag' sticking in my brain a lot, too.
My one criticism (constructive of course) is that sometimes the lyrics feel underinspired, but it's not a big issue in the grander context of this otherwise excellent album. This one definitely grows on you, too. Good stuff, and solidly recommended.
Long live FLA! Benjamin Crockett
