Ben Watkins set out with an idea to be different, and that is exactly what Juno Reactor has always been. The first release, Transmissions, pioneered the Goa style and showed the world what trance music should sound like. Not wanting to conform, Lu.Ci-Ana was released checking in at just over an hour for just one track. Conventional? Absolutely not, and Reactor's third studio album continued to show the diversity of styles and influence with which Watkins could create an album. Beyond the Infinite was originally released in North America in April 1996 and is much darker and heavier than Transmissions, but keeps the dance club accessibility of before. The first single, “Guardian Angel,” has beautiful strings over an oscillating synth that draws the listener in and makes them crave more. “Ice Cube” and “Razorback” are dark, heavy on the bass, and entirely danceable.

Gamma Goblins is the most mind-bending track ever created, brilliantly crafted pure insanity encompassed in seven minutes of psychedelic sounds and pounding beats. This track is in a genre of its own, and no remix can match the madness captured in the original mix. I really hope this version is included in the vinyl singles box set when it is released. Tangerine explores the outer edges of electronic music, writing songs that hum and throb, full of eerie, staticky textures. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 10, 2022
Genre-defying electronic music that at times operates at the slow stutter-step of dubstep and others with the drift of ambient. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 9, 2022
This album is mind blowing and the story telling on this is just incredible!! It is great to listen to the music that TIP, and Hallucinogen created pre-Shpongle and collaborating with Total Eclipse!! It is hard to pick one track because each track intertwines with the others and completes the story!! Love this album!!! TY!!! Papa Kuma
